I started the business to leave something for my children: Asen, Sisi Carwash
“I started the business with my parents’ initiative. They believed that this way I would have something to leave to my children. I’ve been developing the complex for 12 years but it took me a while to start believing that I can build something on my own.
When I say “alone”, I don’t mean by yourself. I would be very difficult to build a successful business without the right team. I’ve learnt to value the people I work with – for me they are not simply employees but people whose hard work and opinion matter. *Attitude is everything* – this has always been a principle I live by. It has also been my greatest challenge – it’s very hard to find the boundary between being friends with the people you work with and being the owner of the business. One learns!”
“How do you see the business?”
“I see it as my inheritance and I feel the responsibility to protect and grow it.”
“What piece of advice would you give to young people with business ideas?”
“Be brave to chase your dreams no matter how much efforts they might cost you. In the end it’s the difficulties that build us up and change us as human being.”
